Most of these sessions are aimed at riders of any age regardless of your level of ability or the discipline in which you ride. However, some sessions do cater to a particular age group, fitness level or discipline.

Warm Up Sessions

Significantly improve your performance and reduce injury risks using the below dynamic warm-ups.
The focus of the warm-up is to: Raise you core and tissue temperature, Activate muscles and soft-tissues, Mobilise joints and Potentiate – gradually increasing the stress on the body in preparation for the upcoming competition/session (RAMP). Getting you physically and psychologically prepared.

Three Movement Warm Up
Simple, quick and effective warm-up that only takes a few minutes to complete.

Three Movement Warm Up
Simple, quick and effective warm-up that only takes a few minutes to complete.

Three Minute Warm Up
If you’re short on time, this can be your ‘go-to’ warm up routine.

One Movement Warm Up
Doing something is better than nothing. If you’re slowly returning to activity, this will be beneficial.

Extensive Band Warm Up
A resistance band warm up to prepare for optimal performance in training or competition.

Mobility

Get your joints working and moving with these mobility sessions.
These movements are best utilised for active recovery sessions (see below) or can be incorporated into any warm-up routine.

Mobility Session
A 5 minute, whole body mobility session with focus on the back, hips and shoulders.

Hip Mobility Session
Enhance your ability to move more freely; e.g. adopt a jumping position easily and with increased control.

Back Mobility Session
Focusing on flexion, extension and rotation of the spine and trunk.

Lower Body Mobility Session
A quick lower-body mobility session, focussing on the ankles, knees and hips.

Upper Body Mobility Session
Highly effective and versatile session; can be used as general preparation or active recovery.

High Intensity Training

Effective training does not need to take hours. Circuits offer an exceptionally efficient method of training, maximising the benefits in minimal time.

Beginner High Intensity Training Session
A whole body high intensity conditioning circuit aimed at equestrians with a beginner level of fitness.

Intermediate High Intensity Training Session
A whole body high intensity conditioning circuit aimed at equestrians with an intermediate level of fitness.

Advanced High Intensity Training Session
A whole body high intensity conditioning circuit aimed at equestrians with an advanced level of fitness.

Resistance Training

Resistance Training can be incorporated into any training routine and can be used to achieve goals such as enhanced strength, endurance, rate of force development and metabolic conditioning to name a few. The number of repetitions and total volume you complete will dictate the physiological adaptation with lower repetition ranges (3-6) focusing on strength, 6-12 on hypertrophy and 12+ for endurance. N.B. Calisthenic (bodyweight) activities are also classified as resisted movements due to your body mass and gravity.

Seated Upper-Body Band Session
Strengthen muscles and soft-tissues of your upper-body, to enhance posture and make you more robust.

Posture Band Session
Simple exercises designed to help improve and promote ideal posture both in and out of the saddle.

Lower Body Band Session
A lower limb focused session consisting of four functional movements using a resistance band.

Upper Body Kettlebell Session
An upper-body push and pull focused session using a kettlebell.

Balance & Stability

Balance and stability are essential in equestrianism and everyday movements. In the saddle stability can particularly benefit your riding position and posture, and balance can benefit more even weight distribution through the stirrups.
