What we do
From loneliness to addiction, mental health problems to physical disability, we want to help everyone to build their confidence and realise their potential.
The Armed Forces Equine Charity is an inclusive charity that provides support beyond the yard.
We provide facilities and encourage participation in sport and recreation by all members of the armed forces community, including children and young people, older people and people with health conditions or impairments.
The catalyst for our life-changing interventions are the interactions we design and deliver between human and horse. We do this through Sport and Recreation, supporting people in therapy, in recovery, in rehabilitation, and with their learning.
Our wider welfare and wellbeing work is delivered through our Community Hubs / Cafes and Heritage Trails that are collocated with our equestrian centres across the country.

Our horses
The power of the horse is completely unique and we see first hand the profound, life changing effect they can have on the members of the armed forces community we support. Our horses have been used in battles across the world. They would have carried supplies, helped the wounded, and ridden into battle.
