Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn) is a simple and easy way to support The Armed Forces Equine Charity. Your gift would be deducted directly from your gross salary, giving immediate tax relief. For example, if you choose to donate £10 a month to The Armed Forces Equine Charity via Payroll Giving, it will only cost you £8 if you are a basic rate taxpayer – and even less if you are a higher rate taxpayer. Your employer needs to set up and run the scheme. The amount of tax relief you get depends on the rate of tax you pay. Please go through Payroll Giving – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) for an easy guide as to how to set this up within your workplace.
