Sandra Murphy

Ambassador for Lincolnshire

Sandra joined the RAF in 1986 but has had horses for over 50 years. In 1994 she founded RAF Northolt Saddle Club and, on leaving the Service, became an entrepreneur, appearing on Dragon’s Den and more recently becoming the 9th black women in UK history to hold a European Patent for her revolutionary Equine Liquid Feed. In 2019, Sandra won the English Veterans Entrepreneur of the Year, and a year later she was awarded the Black British Business Senior Leader award. Sandra is also the founder of the BAME Equine and Rural Activities Focus Group (BERF), which supports ethnically diverse communities in the equine industry.
